| Referal
Network |
A
Sisterspace and Books charter member suggested that we put together
a Sisters to Sister Referral Network... "So many people take advantage
of us and we all have a horror story to tell about the last time someone
"took advantage" or "beat us out some money" with home repair, car
repair, etc. that has done actual work for us (not my CO-worker or
cousin said he was good) this can be a win- for all of us. We could
get good work and the contractors will get referrals .. we can even
maintain customer satisfaction ratings after the work is completed
.. and check with each other about the other minor (which are major)
details (how does he/she tell time? does he/she clean up behind him
or herself, how accurate are the estimates for completion, etc.) For
those who do a rotten job .. we can also list those --- BEWARE ...
This puts stuff in the street and will help the sister get the work
done right!!! ... So, if you needed a contractor to fix a porch ..
you would get a list (e-mail of contractors and customers (sister
network) and go from there" I love this and am asking that if you
would send your favorites and bewares to Sisterspace via email or
fax (202/986-7092), then our member will coordinate the list and we
will compile it into a source document! I received a lot of contractor
referral through my poarch (smile) request. We are compiling the format
now, so if you have any input regarding the format; i.e., type of
work done, on-time worker, type of skills, cost range, etc.
